🎶 Trask Middle School Chorus Concert: Important Information

📍 Location: Trask Middle School Cafe
⏰ Student Arrival: 6:00 PM
🎤 Concert Begins: 6:30 PM
All chorus students are required to wear all black for this performance:
Black dress shirt (no graphics, no see-through fabric)
Black dress pants
Black socks
Black dress shoes (no very tall heels)
No torn jeans or casual clothing
If you need financial help securing concert attire, please email Mrs. Bishton with needed sizes by December 3.
Below are examples of clothing options that fit our concert black dress expectations. These are for guidance only and are meant to help families choose attire that is appropriate and comfortable.
Boys
Black Shirt (This does NOT have to be long sleeved)
Girls
Black shoes (more casual but acceptable)Â
Students will receive two major grades:
Attendance
Concert Etiquette
This concert is a significant part of the chorus grade. Missing the concert will greatly impact the student’s grade unless there is an emergency.
If an emergency occurs, an adult must contact Mrs. Bishton as soon as possible.
Students should:
Arrive on time
Wear complete concert black
Sit with their family/adult guardian when they are not performing
Be fed, hydrated, and ready to sing
Stand with correct posture
Keep hands and feet to themselves
Have no electronic devices on stage (give to an adult or friend)
Maintain a quiet, respectful environment
Stay in designated areas at all times
Use proper “singer’s position” when performing
Be professional, confident, and courteous
Avoid entering or exiting during songs
Help younger audience members when appropriate
Students will complete a self-assessment using these criteria:
Attendance
On-time arrival
Proper concert black uniform
No phone or devices on stage
Singing etiquette and posture on stage
Respectful audience behavior
No talking between songs
Participation in set-up and clean-up
