Hands On Equations

The Hands-on Equations presents a physical model of algebraic linear equations and how they work. The students simply "set up" the given algebraic equations using pawns and number cubes and then proceed to physically carry out various "legal moves" and thereby solve the given equation.

2(-x + 2x) + 4(-x) + 2 = x + (-4)
