“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”- Benjamin Franklin

This quote supports my philosophy of characteristics that are important in a learning environment and how children learn best.

I’m beginning my 22nd year in education and could not be more excited! I have been a part of the Stingray faculty since 2008. My previous experience includes being a teacher at Alderman Elementary and a Mentor Observer Evaluator for beginning teachers in New Hanover County. My credentials include National Board Certification, Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy and Academically Gifted K-12.
