Student Objectives:

Students will:

• learn and present how their community uses water, quantitatively and qualitatively

• make calculations about personal water usage based on information researched from a water-treatment facility

Time: Broken into four hours (four one-hour segments)

Student Procedures:

1. Think about how your community uses water and answer the following questions.

   1. Where does it come from?

   2. How much do you need?

   3. When will it run out?
