Joe-Ann has extensive experience working with native medicinal herbs, building and maintaining germplasm collections, seed saving, identifying plants, knowing their habitats, and preparing voucher specimens.

Alison is interviewing growers, buyers, and wild-harvesters of medicinal herbs to build a network to facilitate commerce in the region. She is also helping to update publications on how to grow and market medicinal herbs and taking care of the logistics for putting on educational programs.
