Echinacea purpurea

There is tremendous interest in growing the medicinal herb and natural products industry in western North Carolina. Unfortunately, there is limited information available to extension agents, community college instructors, and other advisors and educators to the students, farmers, wild-harvesters, and manufacturers interested in being involved in this industry. A training session was held for these educators on November 3, 2011 at the AB-Tech Enka Campus outside of Asheville, NC. This page serves as a resource to those in attendance and others who are looking for information to help others in this industry. Feel free to use this information, but please acknowledge the source and authors. Thank you.
