BUC(SCW) Rudolph
Chief Rudolph enlisted in the United States Navy in Great Lakes Illinois. He attended basic training in RTC Great Lakes Illinois in July 1989, followed by MM “A” School in NTC Great Lakes. In February 1990 he reported to AS-33 Simon Lake that was home ported in Holy Loch Scotland for his first duty station. In November 1992 he transferred to the USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71). After a one-year tour aboard the ROOSEVELT he decided to change rates and become a Builder. In November 1993 he attended BU “A” School, Gulfport, MS. In February 1994, he reported to NMCB 133. While in NMCB 133 he made deployments to Rota Spain and Guam. In October 1995 he transferred to CBU 401 in Great Lakes, IL. In January 1999 he reported to NMCB FOUR, with deployments to Camp Shields Okinawa, and Roosevelt Roads Puerto Rico as Battalion Safety, and Detail Fuji as Quality Control/Safety. He reported to NCTC Port Hueneme in April 2003 as Disaster Recovery School Instructor and transferred to the Builder School House in 2004 where he retired from service in 2008.
