Essential Question: How do the Structures of organisms enable their functions?
Organisms use their functions to survive. A good example is a pill bug. The pill bugs shed their exoskeleton in order to thrive in their environment. They also breathe through gill-like structures to breathe in water. Cells also are a great example of how organisms enable all of their functions. Cells can open their "walls" to let protein and other nutrients pass through.
I learned from this module that each organism uses everything they have in order to live. Each organism has specific body parts and structures to live in their own unique environment.
