The National Capital Area Council Islamic Committee on Scouting (NCACICS) offers a variety of activities to benefit Scouts of the Islamic faith in the National Capital Area Council. The NCACICS is a committee of concerned Muslims who see as their mission the constructive use of the program of the Boy Scouts of America as a viable program with the Muslim youth living in our Nation's Capital Area Council.

The NCAC Islamic Committeeon Scouting vision and promise to promote and guide cooperative contacts between the proper authorities of Muslim organizations, mosques, and proper authorities of Islamic organizations, mosques and centers in partnership with Scouting. This Vision is directed at developing the spiritual phase among Islamic youth by means of the Scout oath and law.
The Mission of the NCAC Islamic Committee on Scouting is to promote Scouting throughout the Muslim Communities in America, to develop local Islamic Committee on Scouting, and to promote Islamic values in Scouting through the aims, methods, and ideals of Scouting.
