International Students Visit Sinquefield Missouri Tornado Simulator Twins (July 19, 2023)

On July 19, 2023, the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) Summer Scholars from Kuwait, currently enrolled in a summer program at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T), visited Center for Hazard Mitigation and Community Resilience. Ms. Jiamin Dang and Mr. Jiaming Li presented to them how capable the Sinquefield Missouri Tornado Simulator Twins are, including both the physical facility and its digital twin based on CFD simulations. This visit served as a gateway for those students from Kuwait to dive into the world of tornado research. The visit further solidified the robust partnership between Missouri S&T and GUST, continuing to pave the way for exceptional educational opportunities for students on both ends.
