Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Maple Shade School District has provided all of our staff and students with the wonderful opportunity to use Google Applications For Education. These applications are a great resource for your student to use inside and outside of the classroom. A huge resource for your student will be Google Classroom. This application will help my students stay organized and updated on all of their assignments. Using Google Classroom is NOT mandatory. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Instructions for Google Classroom
1. Go to https://classroom.google.com using your internet browser.
2. You will be asked to log into your Google account. Please make sure that you use your “msemail” account and not your personal Google account. Their email and password can be found on the inside cover of their Student Planner.
Your msemail account username is your first initial and last name combined. For example my msemail account username would be jsaenz@msemail.org
Your password is the same password you use to access our school computers.
3. Click on the class you need to complete an assignment for.
4. This will bring you to your classroom stream which has all of your assignments. Please locate the assignment to be completed
5. Click on the assignment title in bold.
6. If a worksheet has been provided to complete the assignment please click on the worksheet and complete the assignment on the provided document.
7. If a worksheet has not been provided please click on the “Add” dropdown menu. Once you have clicked this please click the “docs” button. By doing this a blank document will be created for you to complete your assignment.
8. Once you have completed your worksheet or Google document you must click “Turn In” on the document. This is located in the top right corner of the screen next to Comments and Share.
9. A screen will pop up to confirm that you would like to turn your assignment in. Once you have verified the assignment please click the blue “turn in” button.
