Dear Parents and Guardians,
My name is Mr. Saenz, and I am very excited to introduce myself as your child’s language arts and social studies teacher! I cannot wait to begin what I anticipate to be a very exciting school year. Since I will not have the opportunity to meet you until Back to School Night, I wanted to take a few moments to tell you about myself and the upcoming school year.
I am a graduate of Rider University and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I am also a graduate of the Maple Shade School District, and it gives me great pride to teach for Steinhauer Elementary School. I enjoy challenging my students in a fun and productive manner. I believe that tailoring instruction to students’ interests is the first step in helping them understand new skills and material.
I have a wonderful year planned, and I cannot wait to get started. This year, we will review a lot of new material and learn new skills along the way. Fifth grade is such an exciting year for your child, as they will experience a new school environment and greater responsibilities. By June, your child will exhibit tremendous personal and academic growth.
Steinhauer will be an inspiring home for your child over the next two years. You are welcome to explore my website and read about the various policies I will be implementing in my classroom.
