Mr. Hussain Afeef, the Chairman of Kasa Holdings Private Ltd, Maldives is one of the pioneers to introduce tourism to the Maldives in the early 1970s and is also the Vice Chairman of Maldives Association of Tourism Industry. Managing Director of Crown and Champa resorts, a company which own or operate 9 resorts in Maldives and 2 hotels in Seychelles.
Mr. Afeef will be giving a presentation at Auditorium 1 of MNU Central Administration Building at 8pm on the 10th October 2013. The presentation will outline the first days of the tourism in the Maldives, the challenges of making tourism viable in the Maldives, how the Maldivian tourism industry has evolved over the 40 years and the direction that it is heading. He will open the floor for a Q&A session at the end of his presentation.
