This email is regarding 2025 Term 2 Resit and Re-Examinations. You will know whether you are eligible for a resit or re-exam when your results for 2025 Term 2 are published on Self-Service. An “FC” grade means you have been given the opportunity to resit the exam of that subject while a “DF” grade means that you have been granted a re-exam in that subject.

2025 Term 2 Resit and Re-Examinations will be held from 31st January to 3rd February 2026. The exam timetable will be published on the website on 30th December 2025, and the timetable with exam venues and campuses will be published on the website on 20th January 2026

National Tobacco Torch Run

As part of the President’s national initiative on the Tobacco Generational Ban, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation and WHO, is organizing a 24-hour National Torch Run to mark the beginning of the Tobacco Generation Ban Week.

MNU has been allocated the time slot from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on 31st October 2025 at Ekuveni Stadium.

We invite all staff, students, and families to join this national event and show our collective commitment to a tobacco-free Maldives. Participants will engage in a 30-minute run/walk followed by 30 minutes of cheering and awareness activities.

Academic Performance (25% Marks) - Students must have passed all subjects attempted in the last semester.

If more than six students meet the above criteria, the final selection will be based on academic performance.

This selection process ensures that the chosen students will not only represent MNU's academic excellence but also embody the leadership qualities that reflect our institution's core values.

Starting Term 1 2023, MNU will be collecting student feedback on the Subject and Teaching and Evaluation (STE) survey every term via the Self-Service portal.

Students are required to complete this survey each term for all the subjects that they have registered in.

For Term 1 2023, this survey will be active from 6th June 2023.

Asian Youth Leaders Elite Program (AYLEP) is a window for youth to explore the world, a bridge for youth to connect with each other, a platform for youth to gain fulfilling and amazing experiences from Asia to worldwide. AYLEP has benefited 21682 participants from 85 countries in the past 15 years.

"Any interested individuals to be on PSM Rahathafaathu cooking show 2023 please send your contact details with the recipe. Right now we have 5 available slots for the show. The show will be recorded at TVM studio and this is not a live program. The duration will be 10 - 15 minutes. We plan to shoot these episodes from the 13th to 20th of April.

The recipe is to be decided by the chef. The cost of the ingredients for each dish will be reimbursed once the receipts are provided.

The goal of this trip is to explore and experience the hospitality and tourism-related aspects taught in FHTS courses, as well as to provide students with an opportunity to see how the industry operates in internationally famous hospitality destinations, giving students maximum exposure to enhance their learning experience.
