Students in this class used a variety of fabrics and fibers for creating artworks. We examined the ways that artists such as Faith Ringgold, Lesley Dill and Joyce Scott use fabrics and fibers as a means of creative expression. Students explored stitching, weaving, tie dye and transfer techniques, as well as combinations of created and found materials in creating their own expressions.
