I was born in New York, but grew up in New Jersey. I have lived in Mooresville since 2011. I was married to my husband, John, in March 2017. We have five children: Riley (13), Harrison (11), Aubrey (10), Madison (4), and Andrew (4). Our children attend Mooresville Schools!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
This is my eleventh year teaching and ninth year as an ELA teacher at MMS. I earned my teaching certification through a lateral entry program, TEACH Charlotte. I have been certified to teach K-6 Elementary, Middle School English, K-12 Special Education, and High School Social Studies. In 2013 I was named one of Project L.I.F.T.'s Irreplaceable Teachers. I have also earned my National Boards certification.
