Attendance: Students are responsible for any missed work that may occur during an absence. This information can be obtained from Canvas and as documented in the classroom. Students are responsible for finding out what they missed when they were out of class. If an absence is anticipated the student is expected to ask for their work in advance. If a student is absent from school, a parent may pick up missed work in the office if they alert the teacher that they will do so. If a student is absent they are expected to find out what was missed and come to class prepared to jump back in! Any student who is absent from class more than 12 times (either excused or unexcused) may have to attend summer school.
Late Work: It is essential for students to understand the importance of deadlines and responsibility. This will be the expectation except in the case of extenuating circumstances. If work is submitted late that may result in a maximum grade of 60%.
