My practical training as an electrical engineer was obtained while working for WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION, Electronic Systems Group, Baltimore, Maryland (1986 – 1989). At Westinghouse, I initially participated in a graduate development program where I performed engineering assignments in radar receiver, transmitter, systems, software, and off-shore operations groups. Afterward, I chose to join a radar transmitter design and development group where I performed assignments that included designing, developing, and refining analog and digital circuitry in high-power military radar transmitters, and also authoring related technical manuals and documentation.
