Continuous Cycle of Standards-based Teaching and Learning

Standards-based teaching and learning is at the heart of school and district improvement. As we work to ensure that our students grow and graduate career and/or college ready, we will use the standards-based teaching and learning cycle to plan rigorous and engaging lessons, implement effective classroom practices, check for understanding during instruction, and determine what to do for student who do not reach mastery as well as what to do for those who meet mastery before expectation.
