Conversation Starters for the Holidays

Hello Everyone!

Many of the students have been working hard at asking and answering social questions these past few weeks. The upcoming holidays provide increased opportunities to practice these skills while conversing with family members that they do not often get to speak with in the home setting. I would recommend making a "Get to Know you ball" or a "Just Want to Learn More About You Jenga set" to use at home. Links to both proposed ideas can be found below. These activities help with social skill, receptive, and expressive language development (especially if the children are asked to answer each questions with a complete sentence).
