Welcome! My name is Betsy Keavany, and I am the speech and language pathologist here at the Memorial School. I live in Medway with my husband Luke, our three daughters Megan, Nora and Emma, and our dog Oliver. I feel very fortunate to be part of the education of the children of Medway!
A brief background about my teaching and work experience…
I attended Hofstra University and graduated with my Bachelors of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. I then attended Emerson College and received a Masters of Science Degree in Communication Disorders. I worked for 13 years as a speech and language pathologist at the Newman Elementary School in Needham before coming to Medway in 2013. In Needham, I worked closely with regular education teachers and special education teachers to support language learning and social skill development for students with moderate to severe special needs.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to play games, go for bike rides, and visit with friends. In the summer, we love to spend long days at the beaches of Cape Cod.
Please feel free to contact me anytime. The school phone number is 508.533.3265 and my email is ekeavany@medwayschools.org. If it is an emergency or you have any last minute changes with daily routine etc. please contact the school directly as I may not be able to check my email frequently throughout the day but will respond to you as quickly as possible.
I look forward to a wonderful year!
Regards,
Betsy Keavany
