Just a little bit about me:
I was born in New Jersey, moved to Ohio and then to Southwest Harbor Maine in Middle School. I attended Mount Desert Island High School in the 90s, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College in Rhode Island in 2001 in Political Science with a minor in photography.
You will hear me speak about my little family of strong Irish roots often. We have a a 3 year old boy at Mount Desert Nursery School named Tadhg (Tyg), and 2 children at MDES, our 9 year old boy Fionn (fun with a y) and our 11 year old girl Aoife (ee-fa). My husband is from Limerick Ireland and all of his family is still there so we try to make it back as often as we can. They kept me busy this summer, as we went from beach to boat to piles of dirt enjoying this beautiful summer!
I began teaching Social Studies in Medford, Ma in 2001 and then in South Boston, in 2004 and have been back at my alma mater since 2006.
I love seeing the future generations of Trojans walking through the halls I once travelled, creating your own paths as you journey through high school and beyond.
