Academy Certificate

As a student, you are not required to earn an Academy Certificate in order to graduate from high school or to participate in Academy events and opportunities.

But if you do fulfill all the Academy requirements, here is what you will receive:

1. A printed Academy Certificate.

2. A graduation honor cord.

3. A letter explaining the expectations and benefits of your experience which you can include in your college applications.

4. In some cases, you may also receive Career and Technical Education (CTE) credits.

To earn an Academy Certificate, here's what's required:

1. Three elective classes in your Academy.

2. At least one Capstone Project completed, preferably by Fall of your senior year.

3. A short essay reflecting what you've learned through your Capstone Project.

Last school year, the Academies at Blair awarded 75 certificates!
