Physical Science

Physical Science is the 8th grade science class. Physical science is the study of the physical, chemical, and earth characteristics we find within the world. We will take a larger look at the universe by exploring motion, work, light, and electricity. We then will discover matter and the identities of the materials that make up matter. Then we chemically discover what happens when different materials come together. The course is highlighted with investigations which illustrate the various areas.

Below is the agenda for the week (it shows only one hour, but both sections have the same agenda)  and further down this page are some resources. If you are looking for assignments or extra handouts, please go to the Google Classroom for this class (current students only).

**SYLLABUS is available below the Resources and Links.

We will be using McGraw Hill's Inspire Science for this class. Shown to the left is the first book (there are four that we will go through sequentially).
