CHOIR PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Expectations for choir performances

Attendance

Expected time = 15 minutes before

I arrived by the expected time.

 I stayed for the entire concert and supported all of the groups that performed.

Appearance 

Dress nicely and professionally

I dressed up in my nicest clothes as I would for an important event.

Audience Etiquette (STAR)

Behavior as an audience member

I followed STAR and quietly watched and listened the entire time that others were performing.

Performance Etiquette

Behavior on risers as a performer

I was focused on the director. 

I used correct singing stance. 

I smiled and did not talk while on the risers. 

Participation 

Your effort

I gave my best effort for my entire performance. 

I used correct breathing, tall vowels and good diction to the best of my ability.
