In RE some students have opted to complete a GCSE qualification.
We follow the AQA Religious Studies A specification which is divided into 2 papers: The study of Religion, and a Themes paper.
For the study of religions paper you will study Christianity and Buddhism and are expected to understand key beliefs and practices. For the themes paper you will explore four different themes such as crime and punishment or human rights. You will need to apply your understanding of religious beliefs and also your own interpretations and opinions.
For each module of work you will have set homework tasks to complete which link to each topic.
Practice Papers and mark schemes can be found on the AQA website.Â
