In RE some students have opted to complete a GCSE qualification.
We follow the AQA Religious Studies A specification which is divided into 2 papers: The study of Religion and a Themes paper.
For the study of religions paper students will study Christianity and Buddhism and are expected to understand key beliefs and practices. For the themes paper students explore four different themes such as crime and punishment or human rights. They need to apply their understanding of religious beliefs and also their own interpretations and opinions.
For each module of work you will have set homework tasks to complete which link to each topic.
Practice Papers and mark schemes can be found on the AQA website.Â
