The waitlist is currently full, although you might keep an eye out for an open spot. If space becomes available, students on the waitlist will receive email notification (to your mail.ccsf.edu account) and have 24 hours to claim the spot and enroll.
Once the class begins on August 31st, any student wanting to gain entry to the class (including those who were on the waitlist) will need to submit a "class add request," following these directions and using the CRN # for this course (74777).
Course Description: "Develops communication competence to manage conflict and interact with people who are culturally different. Students participate in discussions and complete written and oral assignments, developing communication strategies and skills that result in deliberate and fruitful intercultural outcomes."

You are invited to attend an optional orientation via Zoom on Wednesday (10/2) from 1-1:30pm or 8:30-9pm, and I am also available to help you during office hours.
Course Availability: The online course will become available on Monday, August 31st. All enrolled students will be granted access to the course through Canvas. You must be enrolled in order to access the course. You'll receive a welcome message from me on the first day of instruction, informing you that the first unit of the course is available and inviting you to complete the week's work.
Participate Actively: Students must log in and complete activities at least twice per week. Lack of participation before the drop and withdrawal deadlines will result in removal from the class. Lack of participation after the withdrawal deadline will result in failure.
Commit the Time: You must keep up with the weekly workload, completing all assignments on time--especially major assignments and weekly discussions. The course workload includes up to 40 pages of reading in a week, discussions, chapter quizzes, presentations, and a final. Be sure to read the relevant textbook chapters prior to completing the weekly workloads to be successful in this course!
