I have worked in the Communication Studies Department at City College of San Francisco since 2010, teaching a variety of courses and coaching CCSF's Forensics (Speech and Debate) Team.

My hope is that students: 1) develop as skilled researchers, critical thinkers, and organized/creative/effective communicators, 2) prepare before class and participate during class, 3) apply what they learn and what they already know, bring their full self--ideas, identities, and all--into the classroom, 4) leave space for others and help to create space for dialogues across similarities and differences, 5) utilize support systems at home or school, such as, tutoring centers, resource centers, and me.

I'm happy to meet with any CCSF student needing help--especially if you're interested in majoring in Communication Studies or competing on our Speech and Debate Team. Learn more about the AA-T Degree and other CMST courses here.
