Honors Option Projects

Doing an Honors Option Project With Dr. Harrison

I often work with students on honors option projects in my courses. However, I am not always available to do so if I have a heavier than usual workload or have already committed to working with 2 students. Feel free to check with me at the beginning of the semester if you are interested in doing an honors option project, but please do understand if I indicate that I already have a full plate.  Please do not ask me to commit to doing an honors project with you before you actually begin my course. I will not be able to consider any requests until the semester actually starts. 

If I do offer honors option projects, I have a limit of working with two students per semester. This is why it is important to talk to me early in the semester. Also, if you have not taken a course with me in the past, and I have therefore not previously seen your writing, I will ask you for a writing sample before I agree to oversee your honors project.
