Dear Grown-ups,
How is it May already?! We have lots of exciting activities planned for this final month of the school year! Thank you for helping your child arrive on time each day, ready to learn and follow classroom expectations. Your support helps us make the most of every moment as we finish the year strong!
Spring Testing reports will be sent home in blue folders today, Friday, May 1.
The homework packet going home today will be the last homework packet of the school year. Today was our last Dictation Quiz of the year, so there will be no attached phonics skill. As always, you can refer to my Conference Recommendations & Resources page for more at-home practice ideas.
ALL Library books are due on May 4. Here are some more important library updates for the end of the year:
All students who have returned all their books by May 4th will get a prize ticket to redeem at the Library.
Instructions on how to replace a book will be sent home if your child has lost or damaged books. Reports will be sent home with students missing books.
Already thinking ahead to learning opportunities for this summer? Have no fear! My final weekly post will include a variety of resources, including summer slump busters, tutoring information, and more! Stay tuned! ☀️
The big ideas for 5/4-5/8 will be:
