Welcome to 2nd grade! This is going to be a great year of learning! I look forward to being your child's teacher this year! My name is Ashley Guggisberg. I attended Arizona State University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I then went on to earn my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education as well from Northern Arizona University. In addition, I have a second Masters Degree in Human Relations also from NAU. I have a Reading Specialists Endorsement as well as a Structured English Immersion Endorsement. I began my teaching career in the Washington School District and have been at Simis since 2008. I have taught both first and second grade. I have wanted to teach my whole life and it is definitely my passion. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue my passion on a daily basis.
