GPU Acceleration

NVIDIA GPU / CUDA Acceleration

  • After Effects CS6 : GPU-accelerated Ray Tracing
  • Premier Pro CS6 : Renderer : Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)

Adobe After Effects CS 6 now offers a new ray-traced 3D rendering engine.

Adobe After Effects CS6 and After Effects CC will render ray-traced 3D images with a NVidia video card's GPU, offering much faster render over the CPU.

Adobe® After Effects® CS6

Take advantage of the new 3D ray-traced renderer in After Effects to simplify and accelerate the motion graphics workflow, enabling you to create extruded 3D text and shapes with realistic ray-traced features. NVIDIA GPUs make it happen by accelerating the process up to 27x faster than a CPU.

Adobe Premier Pro CS6

Renderer : Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)

The Adobe Mercury Playback Engine in Adobe Premiere Pro leverages NVIDIA® CUDA® parallel-computing architecture to deliver up to 8x faster performance for key features like Three-Way Color Corrector, Warp Stabilizer, and Uninterrupted Playback.

Adobe Premiere CS5, CS5,5, CS6 or CC, the Mercury Playback Engine will use the NVIDIA GPU for Acceleration
