A.P. GOV'T & POLITICS

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

A.P. Government and Politics and Economics is a two semester course.  The first semester will consist of the AP Government curriculum and the second will consist of finishing the AP curriculum, reviewing for the AP exam in May, while completing the Economics requirement for graduation. The only semester that counts for a 5 point A, is the fall semester.

This course will cover the required AP curriculum to include the topics of the Constitution, Federalism, Government Institutions of the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches, Political Parties, Public Policy and the Media, along with a Civil Rights Unit.
