My student will be riding the bus to school. What is their bus number? When will s/he be picked up and dropped off each day?

Click on the link to our district's transportation website. You can type in your address and learn your child's bus number, pick-up/drop-off times, locations, etc.

Can I create a lunch account for my student? How do I deposit money? How can I apply for free/reduced lunch?

Click on the link to our district's nutrition website. Here you can create a lunch account for your student with their student number and make deposits into their lunch account. There are also applications for free/reduced lunch for families who qualify as well as daily breakfast/lunch menus.

This is a pretty big school! My student doesn't know anyone. How can s/he get involved and begin meeting new friends?

We have all sorts of ways for students to get involved, from sports teams, to clubs, to co-curricular activities during the school day and after school. Check out our activities website and our athletics website for information on these opportunities as well as contact info. for our coaches and sponsors.

Does this school have an online gradebook where I can check my student's grades?

Yes! Power School allows you to check your student's grades and daily attendance at any time. There are also links to track your student's graduation requirements, links to teachers' e-mails, and links to your student's grade history.

Do you have a parent/student handbook that explains building rules, policies, and procedures?

Yes! It is electronic and can be found here.

Where can I find the district calendar for holidays, "no school" days, etc.?

What are the graduation requirements?

All LSR7 students are required to complete 26 credits in specific areas, pass the MO and US Constitution tests, complete CPR training, and complete at least 10 hours of approved, documented community service. Please find additional details here.

What types of courses and programs does LSHS offer?

My student is behind in credits and needs to catch up in summer school or through independent study. Where can I find information about that?

Please visit our district summer school website for information on courses, enrollment, dates/times, etc. Talk to your school counselor about other credit recovery options.

My student has struggled in school before and may need tutoring. What tutoring options does LSHS offer?

Each student's teacher is typically available for 25 minutes before and after school to provide tutoring. Students are encouraged to check with individual teachers for their schedules in case they coach or have meetings, etc.Â
