You will find a spreadsheet below with all 33 CLEP examinations, an overview of each exam, approximate number of questions and time, a link to the CLEP website for that exam, a link to the Modern States course for that exam, and the ACE score recommended for each exam. You will also find PDF documents (in same order of the spreadsheet) that give an overview of each test.

CLEP provides you the opportunity to "test out" of entry level college courses while you are in high school. Any student that successfully completes a Modern States course will gain an opportunity to take the CLEP exam for that course using a voucher (obtained from Modern States after successful completion of the course).

It is important that you understand that just because you take a CLEP exam, does not mean the college or university you plan to attend accepts/recognizes the exam for that course. Use the Search Institution Policies link to see what universities recognize what exam.
