Make a Difference!

Today we are going to think about how we as students can make a difference.

Has anyone ever had someone make a positive difference for you?” (Have students discuss and share stories)

Maybe when you were having a bad day, someone gave you a helping hand or said something kind?

Sometimes even just a smile can help brighten someone’s day.

How did the boy make a difference for the starfish?

What is the message in the starfish story?

Now it's time for you to think of ways you can make a difference.

You are going to receive two clover sheets:

• On one sheet you are going to write a realistic way you plan to make a difference. It can be this week, this month or this year.
• On the other sheet you are going to think of a way someone could make a difference in your life.

Note: It is important you do not include names. Make sure it is a general statement that anyone reading it could be impacted by.
