Original Short Story Assignment

For this assignment, you will plan, draft, revise, edit, and finalize your own original short story! If you are in traditional language arts, your story should be 2-3 pages in length; if you are in advanced language arts, your story should be 3-4 pages in length. In order to get yourself started, you will have a graphic organizer to complete in class. The other documents you will need are linked below.

We will use Google Classroom to complete this assignment, but you may find a copy of the directions and work space here.

Final draft is due

On your due date, you will have the option to read an excerpt from your story to the class, so think about which part you might want to share!
