ELA MCAS – April
CIVICS MCAS – April + May (8th grade only)
MATH MCAS – May + May
SCIENCE MCAS – May + May (8th grade only)
TEST PREPARATION STRATEGIES:
Get a good night's sleep.
Eat a good breakfast.
Pace yourself, know how many questions are on the test.
Skip problems you are having trouble with, BUT make sure you mark them to go back to when you have finished the other test items.
Read all answers and choose the "best answer," don't choose the first answer that seems reasonable.
If you are unsure of an answer, eliminate as many answer options as you can and then guess wisely from the answers remaining.
