Middle school counselors are professional educators who understand and respond to the challenges presented by today’s diverse student population. Middle school counselors do not work in isolation; rather they are integral to the total educational program. They provide proactive leadership that engages all stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to help students achieve success in school. Professional school counselors align with the school’s mission to support the academic achievement of all students as they prepare for the ever-changing world of the 21st century.

If you have a scheduling issue, please see your teacher for that particular class first. If the issue is not resolved, then please find time during the day when you can come to the School Counselor's Office. Mrs. Morrissey will do her best to address your concerns at that time.
School Social Workers support students in creating a safe learning environment and work to safeguard the human rights of all members of the school community. The role of the School Social Worker is to provide social, emotional and behavioral support to students and foster healthy development in the academic setting. The School Social Worker at Williams is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Parents, teachers or administrators may refer students for counseling, if they have a concern. Students may also ask to see the Social Worker if they are in need of support. The SW is also available for consultation or referral needs.

PowerSchool is a student/parent information system to access academic performance within each subject. You have access to current grades, completed or missing assignments, attendance, teacher comments, and overall academic standing within a class.
Every parent and every student will have their own individual username and password to access the system. Students will create their accounts during school hours, in their computer classes. Parents who do not have a PowerSchool account, will receive the information during the first few weeks of school.
If you have any trouble signing on to PowerSchool or have lost your password, please contact our PowerSchool Coordinator, Williams: Kara Sweeney (565-4260).
