Our media center is kept running smoothly due to the work of our student media assistants. These students run our circulation desk, catalog books, shelve materials, maintain order in the media center, recommend books to students, write announcements, and more.
In addition to being organized, media assistants must be trustworthy, willing to help others, interested in learning new skills, self-directed, and must have a passion for reading. Media assistant applications for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are available each spring for the following school year.
We have awesome student and parent volunteers that help keep our media center neat, organized, and running smoothly. Volunteers help with cataloging and covering books, keeping things neat and organized, special projects, the book fair, and more. We are so thankful for our media center volunteers!
