AFTER SCHOOL IN THE MEDIA CENTER
The media center is open after school for student use Monday and Tuesday from 3:00-3:30 PM unless otherwise announced.
Additionally, the media center is open for book check out everyday afterschool until 3:10 PM
Should a student need additional afterschool time in the Media Center to work on projects they can email Mrs. Perrotta at cperrotta@lncharter.org to reserve a time.
Students may come to the media center after school only to study, read, and/or work quietly on projects.
At the 3:10 bell each day, no students may be in the hallway without a staff member’s permission, and no students will be admitted to the media center after the 3:10 bell has rung unless accompanied by a staff member or given prior permission by Mrs. Perrotta.
Once a student has entered the media center after school, they may not come and go from the media center at will. Exceptions will be made only for emergency trips to the bathroom. Students are expected to stay until 3:30 p.m. at which time they will be dismissed to carpool.
When a student leaves the media center, they must go directly to carpool, walking quietly out of the media center and out the 5th grade hallway door.
BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS IN THE MEDIA CENTER:
