At Albuquerque Community Foundation, we are pleased to offer a variety of scholarship programs to help New Mexico residents attain their educational goals. Over $150,00 in student aid is available for high school and college students!
Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are now open as of January 5, 2026. All applicants must complete the Eligibility Questionnaire before receiving access to the full application.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INFORMATION
The New Mexico Press Women Scholarship Fund at Albuquerque Community Foundation administers two scholarships: The Rosenstiel Scholarship and The Anne and Tony Hillerman Scholarship.
Applications for these two scholarships are OPEN NOW to accommodate the earlier application deadline of January 30, 2026.
The Anne and Tony Hillerman Scholarship was established to assist New Mexico Students who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs related to journalism or communications.
The applicant must be a (1) New Mexico student who is enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program within the state of New Mexico related to journalism or communications; (2) New Mexico student who is enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs out-of-state related to journalism or communications; or (3) Out-of-state students who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs within the State of New Mexico related to journalism or communications.
They must be enrolled in the fall semester during their applicant year.

THE ROSENSTIEL SCHOLARSHIP
The Rosenstiel Scholarship was established to assist New Mexico graduate students who are studying in the fields of journalism, communications, or law who is interested in journalism, the First Amendment, or other Constitutional Bill of Rights issues.
Applicant must be a New Mexico resident who:
This scholarship recipient should be a graduate student studying in the fields of journalism, communications, or law who is interested in investigative journalism, the First Amendment, or other Constitutional Bill of Rights issues.
The student must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA in their current studies at the time of application or must have demonstrated such a minimum GPA in their prior coursework.

Amplified Therapy is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity for a graduating high school senior at your school! This year, we are opening applications earlier and have changed the due date. Applications are now open and will be accepted until March 1st. We will notify all winners and schools by April 15th.
Information about the scholarship is provided in this packet. Preference for the scholarship will be given to graduating seniors pursuing healthcare-related fields of study and early childhood education career tracks. Healthcare-related fields may be occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, social work, nursing, nutrition/dietician, etc. If no one in your graduating classes is pursuing these career pathways, we still encourage individuals to apply.
Please distribute this information to your graduating high school senior class!
If your school has a scholarship ceremony or banquet, we would love the opportunity to present our scholarship certificate. If so, please let me know the date and location, and I will RSVP as quickly as possible.

Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of New Mexico 1620 Scholarship 2026 The Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of New Mexico is proud to announce its 1620 Scholarship for 2026. The monetary award is $2500.
Please post and distribute the attached 1620 Scholarship notice to your senior student body, so that those who qualify have an opportunity to apply before the deadline. Thanks.

U.S. citizen and a resident of the State of New Mexico. Members of native pueblos or New Mexico tribes are included,

U.S. citizen related to a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants, New Mexico. Applicant residency is not required. Proof of Mayflower ancestry is not required.

Golden Apple Scholars receive year-round, comprehensive undergraduate support to help them persist toward college graduation. This includes regular on-campus and virtual check-ins and opportunities to connect with a network of peers who share their passion for education. Scholars also benefit from paid summer professional development experiences that provide hands-on instruction and leadership opportunities in their local communities. This comprehensive support continues throughout your undergraduate journey and into your early teaching career in New Mexico.

NMSU Scholarship Opportunities
I would love to see your students apply for admission to New Mexico State University! NMSU consistently provides one of the best educational values in the country. In order to maximize scholarship opportunities with us, please encourage your high school seniors to complete the following steps before December 1.
Apply to NMSU - we're waiving the application fee until December 1*.
Email a copy of high school transcripts and SAT or ACT scores (if available) to admissions@nmsu.edu.
Once admitted, create a myNMSU account (needed for the next step).
Submit the completed Scholar Dollar$ application by 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time) on Monday, December 1, 2025.
*The application fee waiver applies only to domestic applicants. International applicants are required to pay a $50 application fee.
