About:

Littleton Middle School is proud to house a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. The National Junior Honor Society is an organization dedicated to recognizing and honoring outstanding middle school students. Although we have a group of students who were initiated into the LMS NJHS, other 8th and 9th grade students who strive to meet the standards of the society are invited to participate in meetings and activities.

Information for Prospective NJHS Applicants:

2016-2017 7th and 8th graders who are planning to apply to NJHS in the spring of 2017 should prepare by:

Keeping your grades up
Engaging in community service--12 hours required for eligibility (Community service is defined as volunteer work done for the benefit of others. The student who performs community service does not get paid. Please contact Ms. Finnerty or Mrs. Tetreault if you are not sure about a potential project).
Taking on leadership roles in your school and/or community. Examples of leadership include organizing an event yourself, supervising others, or serving on a leadership team such as student council. Please contact Ms. Finnerty or Mrs. Tetreault if you are not sure about a potential opportunity.
