Welcome Students and Parents,
I am Mrs. Enos and I am so excited to be your 7th grade history teacher this year! This is my 8th year at Literacy First Charter School. In 7th grade, our focus is the "Medieval World". This means that we will be looking at history from almost the WHOLE WORLD from approximately 500 CE-1700 CE. Specifically we will delve into: early European life (i.e. feudalism!), the Middle East, West Africa, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, the Americas, and BACK to Europe (i.e. Renaissance/Reformation).
7th grade is a thrilling year filled with many opportunities to grow as a person and start to gain independence. This will be your first year of having a full history class everyday of the week. If you remember, way back to last year, you had history ROTATIONS a few times a week but this is different. This will be much more information and more rigorous. BUT, we also have the opportunity to have more fun, Please get ready for great discussions and connections of the past to your life today! Yes, medieval history DOES connect to our world today.
