Hello all, I hope you all are staying well during this new period of live. All the students that are enrolled into Coach Abbas' PE class are also enrolled in my Google classroom. Each week the students will log into their google classroom to find their weekly challenge. The goal is to keep them active in their homes 4 times a week for 35 minutes and to read one healthy article during the week. If you have any question please email me. My office hours are Tuesday's and Thursday's from 9-10.
Week March 16th -20th
Description:
This week you will find a fitness app or choose one from the list to participate in fitness for 35 minutes for four days during the week. After each workout you will need to fill out a google form, stating what kind of activity you completed for that 35 minutes and what you learned. You must find an app with no equipment needed (unless you have the equipment), and will keep you in your target heart rate for 35 minutes.
Article Review:
Students must read the article posted and write a 100-200 word summary of what they have learned from the health article. They will make sure they also include a personal connection to the article. Example: What were your thoughts about the article? Do you and your family eat meals together? Do you agree with the claims of the article?
The health article will be on the google classroom.
This must be turned in by the end of the week on Google Classroom.
