9. Grades

Choir is a curricular class; therefore, choir students receive a grade at the end of each semester. Grades are comprised of daily participation, contents of your portfolio and attendance/punctuality to dress rehearsals/concerts. Grades are weighted by the following scale:

Activity % of Grade

Formative: Homework, Theory, etc. 15%

Practice / Participation: Synchronous learning activities 15%

Project / Performance: Singing assessment, etc. 40%

Summative: Concert performances, etc. 30%
