Hello! I am Ms. Allen,

This is my second year teaching English Language Arts here at RBMS, and my second year of teaching in general. I am a former student of Leander ISD as I graduated from Vista Ridge HS in 2016. I have a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies from UTSA.

I decided I wanted to become a teacher after participating in my high school's Ready, Set, Teach! program and seeing how amazing it was to help young students learn and grow. As English Language Arts is the foundation of being able to excel in other subjects, I chose to teach this course.

In my free time, I like to read (big surprise from an ELA teacher), travel, go to the movies, and shop. I have a cat, Gizmo, whom I like to refer to as my child, as he is a huge baby.
