My name is Amanda Engram, and this is my first year at Leander Middle School. I’m excited to get to know your kids and teach them science!
I grew up in Lorena, TX. After high school, I attended Texas A&M University in College Station. I worked various jobs after college before becoming a teacher including working in a Microbiology lab at the Texas A&M Vet School and later as a lab tech for Baylor College of Medicine in the Houston Medical Center. I started teaching in 2018 and have taught in four different schools before coming to Leander ISD.
I look forward to seeing your 7th grade student grow and discover what it means to be a “scientist” - to be curious, investigate, take risks, make mistakes and learn from them, and collaborate with others. I’m here to support your student to be successful and have a GREAT year! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. My email is: amanda.engram@leanderisd.org.
Thanks! Ms. Engram
