Algebra Grading Policy

RBMS Algebra Grading Policy 2020-2021

• Daily Work 20%
• Quizzes 35%
• Tests 45%
• Late Daily Work
  • Late assignments will be accepted up to 2 days past the due date.
  • 1 day late = maximum grade of 90%
  • 2 days late = maximum grade of 80%
  • 3 or more days late = no credit
• Redo Policy
  • QUIZZES can be CORRECTED for up to a 70%, half points back. Students will have 5 school days from when the quiz is passed back to correct. Corrections must be completed in tutorials.
  • TESTS can be RETAKEN for up to a 70%. Students will have 5 school days from when the test is passed back to retake the test. It is your responsibility to schedule with your teacher a retake time within the 5 days. Corrections and tutorials are strongly encouraged prior to retaking.

*Note: Algebra I is a high school level course where students will be receiving high school level credit. Therefore, we follow the LISD high school grading policy (retakes/corrections for up to a 70%).
